Diabetes education session for patients and their families

Research aur education

Behtar sawaal, behtar ilaaj.

We keep learning, so your treatment keeps improving.

Treating patients, teaching them and studying diabetes go together. Each one helps us understand the disease better and give the people of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar care we can stand behind.

Kaam sirf clinic tak nahi.

Research and education let us do something beyond one appointment at a time - better knowledge, safer treatment, and a community that actually understands sugar.

01

Clinical Trials

We take part in diabetes research studies that help improve treatment for everyone. What we learn from our own patients is shared carefully, so that tomorrow's medicines and guidelines are based on real experience.

02

Ethizone Educational Services

Ethizone is our diabetes awareness and education work for patients and the community. Through camps, talks and training sessions, families learn what diabetes really is and what to do at home - in language they understand.

03

Ethics Committee for Biomedical Research

No study is worth doing if a patient is put at risk. Ethics oversight makes sure that anyone taking part is fully informed, treated with respect, and free to say no at any time.

Agar aap study me shaamil hote hain

How it works, step by step.

  1. 01

    You are told first

If a study is relevant to your condition, the doctor tells you about it during your regular visit. Nothing starts before that conversation.

  2. 02

    Written consent

You get the details in writing, in language you understand, and sign only when you are ready. Family can be part of the discussion.

  3. 03

    Normal care continues

Your usual consultations, tests and medicines carry on as before. Research never replaces or delays treatment.

  4. 04

    You can stop anytime

Withdrawing is your right, at any point, with no effect on how you are treated at the centre.

Aapke liye iska matlab

Your rights, in plain words.

  • Taking part is your choice. Saying no changes nothing about your treatment.
  • Everything is explained to you in your own language before you agree.
  • You can walk out of a study at any time, without giving a reason.
  • Your reports and personal details stay confidential.
  • No patient is put on a study without being told.
  • Nobody is charged extra for being part of a study.
  • Your regular treatment is never stopped or delayed for research.

Aksar poochhe jaane wale sawaal

Questions patients ask us.

Do I have to join a study to get treatment here?

No. Research is completely separate from your regular treatment. Your consultation, tests and medicines continue exactly the same whether you take part or not.

Kya isme paisa lagta hai?

No patient is charged extra for taking part in a study. If anything about cost is unclear, ask the front desk before you sign anything.

How will I know what I am agreeing to?

Everything is explained to you in your own language, in writing and in person, before you agree. You can take the papers home, discuss with family, and come back with questions.

Can I leave in the middle?

Yes. You can stop at any time, without giving a reason, and your treatment at the centre stays unchanged.

Who keeps an eye on all this?

An ethics committee for biomedical research reviews and oversees the work, so that patient safety, consent and confidentiality come first.
